In 2018, the world's usage amount of plastic bags reached 5 trillion. Most of them were thrown into the ocean and land. The plastic bags in the soil have been decomposed for hundreds of years. During the decomposition process, the soil is degraded and organisms are also extinct: vegetation disappears, and organisms are also destroyed. Marine plastic bags are often eaten by marine organisms, and a large number of marine organisms such as sea turtles and seals suffocate to death.
Therefore, many countries use biodegradable packaging bags instead of plastic bags. Degradable packaging bags can be divided into ordinary degradable packaging bags and fully biodegradable packaging bags. The difference between the two is that the fully biodegradable packaging bags can be completely degraded into water and carbon dioxide. Ordinary decomposition bags cannot be completely decomposed. Over time, the decomposable packaging bags are broken down into small plastic particles, causing great harm to the environment. Small plastic particles enter the bottom of the food chain and enter the human body as the food chain rises.
At present, 100% biodegradable & compostable PLA material is obtained from renewable biological resources such as corn, cassava, sugar cane and sugar beet. It has the characteristics of renewable, food-grade and pollution-free properties, and is a truly environmentally friendly material.
In 2010, PLA ranked second in the world's consumption of bioplastic materials. We have made significant progress in the field of fully biodegradable packaging, but the cost of fully biodegradable materials and products is facing a common problem that is about 3 times that of PE materials. Therefore, many consumers demand low-priced biodegradable materials to replace fully biodegradable materials, causing market chaos. Many countries and regions in the world have gradually implemented bans or restrictions on plastics, which provides a lot of space for fully biodegradable products. However, cost issues limit development. Therefore, DINGEN has established its own R&D center to solve this problem. We hope that fully biodegradable products can develop smoothly on the basis of cost control, and DINGEN has now made preliminary progress.
Many countries have formulated relevant standards to protect the environment and regulate the development of the biodegradable market. One of the recognized standards is the EN13432 standard. The standard clearly defines the degradation performance and anaerobic treatment performance of fully biodegradable materials and products. The main biodegradable raw materials used in DINGEN environmentally friendly biodegradable products are PHA, PGA, PLA, PBAT, PBS, etc. All of which are natural and environmentally friendly materials that can be completely degraded and are internationally recognized biodegradable materials. Production management is strictly in accordance with standards and exported. Various countries have also been widely recognized by customers.
